Plano-altimetric and tension state surveys of the Continuous welded rail of the track in operation
SYSTEM FOR MEASURING TRACK POSITION IN RELATION TO TOPOGRAPHICAL REFERENCES, WITHOUT DIRECT ACCESS TO THE TRACKS
The system allows the rails to be collimated with a laser beam to instantly verify the plano-altimetric position of the track in relation to the topographic pegs normally installed on electric traction posts.
It allows operation exclusively from the railway platforms, in complete safety, without any access to the track, neither with men nor with tools.
It is based on the use of a special bracket, a modern laser distance meter with inclinometer and a tablet or Android© smartphone with dedicated software that controls, acquires and processes the data.
In just a few seconds, a single person is able to survey the position of the track and also measure the wheelbase and track spacing of the tracks placed side by side.
The specific functionalities of the system are:

- Acquire position measurements, instantly compare them with tracking data and highlight any track anomalies
